[March Product Updates] We're putting the word out
Your fundraiser is powered for free
Version 21 of Teamfi went live yesterday, and we’re putting the word out on your fundraiser:
All donation pages now have a small, hovering tag: "Powered for free by Teamfi"
Why’d we do this?
Transparency.
When you donate to someone online, you want to know where the money is going.
It’s small things like these tags that make this clear.
Check this feature out live on Lowell Softball’s (now closed) campaign:
This will also help you fundraise more
When donors know that all of the money they give is going back to your team, they raise their average donation size.
Read more about this right here:
Strange but true:
Since moving to a business model that is powered exclusively by optional tips from from donors, the average donation size on @teamfi_app has grown, not shrunk
Avg Donation Pre-Change: $55
Avg Donation Post-Change: $57People will actually donate *more* when… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

Not the only new feature this month!
Here are a few more:
We’ve updated the fundraiser activation pop-up to clearly state that there may be up to a 30 minute delay after activation until texts are sent (apologies once more to those who’ve been surprised by this delay in the past)
We’ve added a ‘Days Remaining in Fundraiser’ counter to your fundraiser dashboard, so you no longer have to subtract your ‘Days Live’ counter from the number 14 to know how many days are left
We’ve fixed the fundraiser dashboard so that is clearly distinguishes when a ‘Completed’ fundraiser has been completed (before, it still showed as ‘Activated’, even though its respective donation page had been shut down)
We’ve added language in the first wave of texts to be even more clear on who it’s from: “I’m texting you from Teamfi, my group’s fundraising app”
Check these out for yourself right now by logging on to your Teamfi Coach’s Dashboard
That’s all for this week’s newsletter guys!
Love,
Kanon
