One Calendar, $28,410 Raised—Steal RC Edwards’ Plan

Copy their Calendar Fundraiser—raise $300 per player, step-by-step inside

How RC Edwards Middle School Football Turned One Calendar Fundraiser into $28,410

“Hurricane Helene wiped out 25% of our games and half our gate revenue. Our usual fundraiser wasn’t going to cover our needs.”

Coach Jimmy Bardusk, RC Edwards Middle School Football

Their playbook in three quick moves:

  1. Universal buy-in, zero sales pressure
Every player had to create a Teamfi account and invite 20 people to donate—but there was no minimum dollar quota. Parents loved that effort, not wallet size, was the only requirement.

  2. Paint the bigger picture
Coach opened the spring parent meeting with one slide on why they were running the fundraiser: reconditioning costs, new helmets, field repairs. Framing the ask as a program-wide need turned skeptics into champions.

  3. Winner-takes-the-helmet incentive
Any athlete who filled all 31 calendar spots earned first pick of a new SpeedFlex or F7 helmet to use for the season.

The result:

  • 34 players completed their calendars

  • 800+ donors rallied in 28 days

  • $28,410 raised—nearly triple their goal and over $300 per player

This fundraiser has helped our program and community tremendously this year and for years to come!. Thanks, Kanon and Teamfi!”
