This team was intentional
A great fundraising example, plus an update on Teamfi
One thing you can do to get around the stigma of ‘just asking for money’?
Be intentional.
Intentional about your goal, intentional about your dollars.
North Duplin HS Football in Calypso, NC did both of these things.
Their Goal: “We are fundraising for FCA Camp”
Their Dollars: “Each player has a $200 goal. Every $ raised over $200 will be shared with those who do not reach $200”.
With this level of transparency, it’s no surprise that they crushed their goal of raising $8K
Check out their campaign below:
52 Weeks Ago, I launched Teamfi
It’s been a full year since Teamfi was started
Check out how Year 1 went by reading my recent Twitter thread:
52 weeks ago, I launched @teamfi_app on my HS football blog, @goosepoop_
I did it to help my Dad
He's a HS football coach, and he hated that when his team ran an online fundraiser, their donations were taxed 20% by a 3rd party
So Teamfi was my swing at helping him out
