They didn't want to text anyone

This fall, Monroe Saint Mary Catholic Central Volleyball came to me with a question.

Could they use Teamfi WITHOUT our automated texting feature?

I’d never been asked this before, so I had to ask why.

The response I got back was 2-part:

• They wanted to force every team member to ‘do the work’ of manually sharing their page with friends & family

• Some team members weren’t comfortable adding other people’s cell phone numbers

Their reasoning was incredibly sound.

And so was my answer:

Of course they could use Teamfi without our automated texting feature!

It’s actually super easy to do:

• Create your team’s fundraising page (like normal)

• Have every participant sign up & add a profile picture (again - like normal)

• DO NOT have them add any contacts

Then, when ready, simply activate the fundraiser.

After that, every participant will gain access to their donation page share link, which can be manually shared wherever they’d like (pic below).

This worked incredibly well for SMCC - they raised $5,967, surpassing their goal of $5,000!
