[Free Case Studies] 3 tactics to take your team's fundraiser from $10K to $20K

3 Case Studies from Actual Teamfi Customers who fundraised $20K+

Consider the following hypothetical:

Two teams run the same fundraiser

One raises $10K, the other raises $20K

What was the difference?

Player Participation

It’s really the only thing that matters when it comes to team fundraising …

… so let’s find out 3 different tactics coaches use to increase it

(stick around to the end - we’ve got a 3 free case studies from actual Teamfi Customers who used these tactics)

If you’re new to this newsletter, Hi - I’m Kanon Dean, the co-founder of Teamfi

Nice to meet you!

Teamfi is a Michigan-based company that my brother and I launched 9 months ago.

We’re not even a year into it, but we’ve already fundraised over half-a-million dollars for teams around the Nation

The best part?

Because Teamfi is totally free to use (we don’t take a % of your fundraiser), that means we’ve saved those same teams over $100K in fundraising fees.

Every week, we’re sending out free team fundraising insights to the coaches & administrators we serve.

The Tactics

There’s 3 main categories of tactics I’ve seen coaches use to increase player participation

  1. Positive Reinforcement

  2. Negative Reinforcement

  3. Culture

Let’s take a look at specific examples from each:

Positive Reinforcement

  • This is when you offer a stimulus in exchange for action

  • Example: Giving a prize to the player that participates the most in your fundraiser

  • Case Study: “Pay to Play” ($26K Raised)

Negative Reinforcement

  • This is when you remove a stimulus in exchange for action

  • Example: Saying “everyone has to do this, or else we run”

  • Case Study: “Running Hills” ($25K Raised)

Culture

  • No stimulus - it’s just expected

  • Example: Saying “this is an expectation for being apart of our program”

  • Case Study: “The Best Programs” ($50K Raised)
